Weight Loss After a Baby - What's the Right Way and Wrong Way to Lose the Weight After Giving Birth?

Many new moms struggle with weight loss after baby. They have given birth to this beautiful child but in the process have lost the figure they once had, they look at all the programs out there and decide they have got the time for these. There is nowhere in there new busy mom schedule to fit in going to the gym or those long runs they once had. This thought process quite often puts the new mom in the position to think the wrong way about weight loss after the delivery. What is the wrong way, let me describe it below, and followed of course by the right way.

The current myth that has been perpetuated over the years by media and Hollywood is that we need to do cardio workouts at a slow pace to burn the fat, that we need to get into the "Zone". This is misleading and wrong information that many women, including myself waste a lot of time on before finding the right way. There are far more important things a new mom needs to worry about than trying to find multiple hours a day to do these kinds of less effective workouts.

There is a far better alternative to the long duration, less effective cardio zone workouts. A workout does not have to be long to be effective; in fact, some of the best workouts are quite short. To ensure weight loss you need to focus more on short duration intensive workouts. It is possible to lose your post partum weight in only 3 - 45 minute workouts a week. What you do is ensure that each workout is optimized to burn the most fat and calories. Doing it this way will produce results.
